A composite IBC carries a UN31HA1/Y marking when it is certified for Packing Group II/III liquids — the "Y" covers those groups, the "31HA1" describes the rigid plastic bottle in a metal cage. Confirm the marking is present and in date before transport. When decanting flammable or static-prone liquids, bond and ground the tote to dissipate charge, and provide ventilation for any offgassing.
