Sell your IBC totes — we buy empties for cash

Got totes gathering dust behind the plant? Those idle empties are worth money, not a disposal invoice. We buy used 275 and 330 gallon IBC totes across the country, handle the pickup, and keep every one of them out of a landfill by feeding it back into the reuse loop.
The short answer

To sell, email us photos, prior contents, the count, and your ZIP — no phone needed. We reply with an offer and a pickup plan, handle reverse logistics, and pay you for totes that would otherwise cost you money to throw away. We buy in most conditions, so don't assume yours are junk.

Answer first

The single biggest factor in your offer is prior contents. Totes that held FDA-approved food products or non-hazardous industrial liquids are the easiest to renew and command the best price. Cage integrity, valve condition, and count do the rest. Not sure what you have? Send photos and we'll tell you.

What we buy

Condition tiers we take

Top tier

Clean food-grade empties

Held only FDA-approved edible products, intact cage, working valve. These fetch the strongest offers and go straight into reconditioning.

Workhorse

Industrial empties

Previously held non-hazardous industrial liquids — soaps, surfactants, treatment chemicals. Solid value, high demand.

Rebottle candidates

Tired bottles, good cages

Bottle worn but the steel cage is sound? We still buy — the cage gets a new HDPE bottle in our rebottling line.

How selling works

From empties to payment in five steps

  1. Send the details

Email photos of the totes, the prior contents of each, the count, and your ZIP. Any quote form on the site reaches us — no phone call needed.

  2. Get your offer

We assess prior contents, cage integrity, valve condition, and count, then reply by email with a per-tote offer and a total.

  3. Approve the pickup

Accept the offer and we schedule reverse logistics — palletized LTL for small lots, full truckloads for larger volumes. See transport.

  4. We haul them out

Our carrier collects the totes from your dock on 40x48 pallets. You don't arrange or pay for freight yourself.

  5. Get paid — and diverted

You collect cash for what used to be a disposal cost, and every tote enters the reuse loop instead of a landfill.

Pricing drivers

What sets your offer

Transparent factors, no lowball games. The cleaner and more consistent your lot, the stronger the offer.

  • Prior contents — food-grade and non-hazardous industrial totes are worth the most.
  • Cage & bottle condition — sound cages and intact bottles renew fastest.
  • Count — a full truckload (~40 totes) is more efficient to collect and prices better per unit.
  • Location — proximity to our lanes out of Peoria affects the reverse-freight math.
  • Fittings — standard valves and caps are easiest to redeploy.

Questions

Selling FAQ

What IBC totes do you buy?
Used 275 and 330 gallon totes in most conditions — food-grade, industrial, and rebottle candidates. Prior contents and cage integrity matter most.
How do I get a quote to sell?
Send photos, prior contents, count, and ZIP. We reply by email with an offer and pickup plan — no phone tag, no site visit to start.
Do you pick up the totes?
Yes — we arrange reverse logistics from our Peoria hub, LTL for small lots and FTL for larger volumes.
Why sell instead of disposing?
Disposal costs money and landfills good HDPE and steel. Selling pays you and diverts the totes into the reuse loop.
